Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

An incident of DUI occurred at 1:41 a.m. July 21 on Ninth Street near Pine Street in Philipsburg Borough. A 38-year-old Philipsburg man was observed committing several traffic violations. Upon making contact with him, state police discovered he was under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody and charges are pending for DUI and multiple summary violations.
An incident of theft from a motor vehicle occurred sometime between July 25 and Saturday on Spike Island Road in Rush Township. A person(s) entered a van and stole a woman’s prescription medication.
