Clearfield Hospital Hospice held its annual butterfly release Sunday at the David H. Litz Grove Stage at the Clearfield County Fair.
Hospice volunteers read the names of those being honored by their friends and families and presented each with a butterfly. In unison the butterflies were released in memory and honor of their loved ones.
All proceeds will benefit hospice patients and their families.
The butterflies were provided by Jodi Hopper of “Wish Upon a Butterfly” from New Castle.
