- A domestic dispute occurred at a Plymptonville residence. It was physical in nature; however, the perpetrator fled the scene prior to police arrival. Police located the perpetrator, who was hiding in the backyard of a residence, and placed him in the Clearfield County Jail on a 48-detainer.
- A 911 hang-up occurred and police contacted a male and female who stated they were engaging in an argument. Everything was OK.
- An investigation was conducted regarding an assault. Charges are pending; the investigation is ongoing.
- A burning complaint was received by police who found a paper only fire burning out in a fire ring. The fire was within the guidelines of township code; however, the owner agreed not to continue burning, since it was bothering their neighbor.
- A domestic dispute occurred at the Lawrence Park Villages. Police contacted both parties and handled the incident and advised them if they must return, both would be arrested.
- Debris was reported on the state Route 879 bypass. Police removed the debris from the roadway.
- An incident of trespass occurred at a business along the Clearfield – Shawville Highway. Police removed the suspect without incident.
- The investigation continues into the delivery of a controlled substance, where a known person allegedly passed pills to an unknown man. Police have a description of the man, his vehicle and registration information.
- Three mysterious red lights were observed in the sky in the Plymptonville area. The lights were gone prior to police arrival.
- A deer versus vehicle accident occurred on the Rockton Mountain Highway. The deer was reportedly injured and needed put down. It was expired prior to police arrival and removed from the roadway.
- A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Centre Elementary School. Police learned the operator was there to pick up a child; it was a meeting place set up as part of a custody agreement.
- Curwensville Borough police were assisted in attempting to locate the silver Jeep Liberty that was linked to a theft incident in Curwensville. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- A psychological emergency was reported to police after an individual threatened to consume pills and cut themselves. Police responded and calmed down the individual until crises personnel could arrive.
- An alarm was reported at a local business; however, police arrived and discovered a delivery driver.
- An incident of harassment was reported to police, but police determined there wasn’t any criminal act.
- A single-vehicle accident occurred on the Clearfield – Shawville Highway. No injuries were reported.
- Police were contacted about a small child who was possibly ingesting medication. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- Police were contacted about a young child who was being unsupervised. The child had been returned to his home after police responded.
- An incident of criminal mischief was reported to police.
- A bicycle was stolen and later located and returned to the owner.
- Police responded to a residence after being contacted about a male who wanted to harm himself.
- A hit-and-run accident occurred on South Second Street, where one vehicle side-swiped another and then fled the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
- A couple was assisted with a disabled vehicle on United States Route 322.
- A burning was reported in the area of Paradise School Road and Rockton Mountain. Upon police arrival, the fire had been extinguished.
- A psychological emergency was reported to police, as a man with “homicidal thoughts” was locked in his motel room with a knife. Police responded and took the man into custody. He was released into the care of mental health.
- Police were contacted by mental health about the previous incident. The man had signed himself out of the hospital. Police assisted crises personnel in obtaining a mental health warrant for him. He was later taken into custody and transported to the hospital for evaluation.
