Wanda M. DeLancey, 49, of DuBois died Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
Born Aug. 21, 1962, she was the daughter of Daniel A. and Ida (Williams) Zurenda. They survive and live in Punxsutawney.
On May 24, 1993, she married Gordon L. DeLancey. He survives.
Mrs. DeLancey worked at ELCAM in DuBois for the past 11 years. She loved to garden and belonged to the Garden Club of America.
She’s also survived by her son, Christopher DeLancey of DuBois and three stepsons, Gordon DeLancey II of Savannah, GA, Johnathan DeLancey of Rochester, NY and Kenneth DeLancey of DuBois.
Also surviving are three brothers, Dan Zurenda and Douglas Zurenda, both of Punxsutawney and Richard Zurenda of Shelby, NC; seven sisters, Mary Sue Zurenda, Dana Brooks, April Zurenda and Halona Zurenda, all of Punxsutawney, Cheryl Battaglia of Reynoldsville, Sharon Wright of Glen Campbell, Anita Zurenda of Brookville and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Elizabeth DeLancey.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home in DuBois with Pastor Kenneth Eddy officiating.
