On Monday, a vehicle driven by a 69-year-old DuBois woman pulled out of Hand Street and struck a vehicle driven by a 71-year-old DuBois woman. The latter woman was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for treatment.
On Monday, a stolen vehicle driven by a 13-year-old girl attempted to flee from police. At some point, the girl lost control of the vehicle on Platt Road, causing it to exit the roadway and impact a ditch. No injuries were reported. All four girls were apprehended and later released to parents. The driver was processed and released to juvenile probation.
Rossio Coal Company’s owner reported Tuesday that the business on South Brady Street had been broken into for a second time. A clock valued at $30 was reportedly missing. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
