UNIVERSITY PARK – University Police are investigating a sexual assault that occurred in a residence hall in South Halls on the University Park campus sometime between 2:30 and 3 a.m. Wednesday, July 4. Individuals, some of whom were known to the victim, sexually assaulted this student within the residence hall. The suspects are described as college age, African American males. One suspect is described as wearing a red baseball cap, striped tank top and athletic shorts.
Anyone with information about this crime should call University Police at (814) 863-1111 or Centre County Crime Stoppers at 1-877-99-CRIME. People providing information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000. Residence halls require access with a key card that only residents carry. Residents are reminded to:

— Do not allow unescorted guests into the building.
