Margaret (Rudiak) Rusyn, 81, of West Decatur and formerly of Smoke Run passed away June 20, 2012 at 2:45 p.m. at the Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
She was born on Jan. 26, 1931 at Smoke Run, a daughter of the late Demetrius and Mary (Shutack) Rudiak.
Mrs. Rusyn retired as a waitress from the Presbyterian Home, Philipsburg after 18 years service and prior to that she was employed at the former General Cigar Factory in Philipsburg.
She is survived by a son, Robert Rusyn of Dayton Beech, FL; her long time companion, Roy Fleck of West Decatur; two grandchildren, Jacqueline Gallaher and Randy Dunlap, Jr.; 3 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Rusyn is also survived by a son-in-law, Randy Dunlap, Sr. of Allmensville; a sister, Christine Lucas of State College and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rusyn, was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanette J. Dunlap on Feb. 2, 2008; 4 brothers, Charlie, George “Fuggie”, John and Steve.; and two sisters, Helen Mihalko and Ann Bungo.
Friends will be received on June 22, from 9-11 a.m. at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc. Ramey. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., June 22 in the funeral home with the Rev.
