CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Revitalization Corporation, wants to remind all downtown businesses in the Main Street District that applications for the Summer 2012 Façade Improvement Grant Program are due Friday, June 22.
These grants are intended to stimulate private investment in the preservation of historic downtown architecture and to foster image making improvements to downtown commercial properties. Eligible activities include, but are not limited to, brick and stone masonry, doors and upper story windows, exterior woodwork, signage, painting, awning and lighting. The CRC Façade Improvement Grant is awarded on a 50-50 match costing basis, up to $5,000.
You may pick up the guidelines and application at the CRC office, or download it online. All applications are due June 22 by 4 p.m to the CRC’s office at 125 E. Market St., Clearfield PA 16830. You may either drop off, mail or email applications, but the CRC must have them on time.
