Scott Wayne Jones, 38 of Houtz Street, Houtzdale, died June 14, at Clearfield Hospital, Clearfield.
Born April 8, 1974 in State College, he was the son of Charles W. and Janet (St Pierre) Jones
He had been a member of the United States Army Reserves and was formerly employed by the United States Postal Service.
He is survived by his father Charles W Jones of China, his mother Janet and step father Wayne Blake of Houtzdale, a brother Richard Jones and his fiancé Christina Conklin of Clearfield, three step sisters, Nora Grager and her husband Edward of Houtzdale, Bonnie Weakland and her husband Jeff of Tyrone and Pamela Deluccia and her husband Michael of Curwensville.  He is also survived by two step brothers Terry Blake and his wife Linda of Texas and Kevin Blake and his companion Terry Nyman of Houtzdale.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral service will be held June 20 at 11:00 a.m. at the Birger A Freeberg Funeral Home Inc. with the Rev. Lee Cowfer officiating.
Interment will follow in the Umbria Cemetery, Osceola Mills
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
