BECCARIA TOWNSHIP – An Erie man was taken for treatment after a motorcycle accident on Friday.
The state police in Clearfield reported that Charles J. Costa, 56, was traveling south on state Route 729/Tyrone Pike. He was rounding a right curve when he exited the roadway. Police said he suffered moderate injuries and was not wearing a helmet. Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services transported him to Altoona Regional Health System for treatment.
Police said he was cited for failing to drive at a safe speed.
