PHILIPSBURG – The robbery from a job site trailer in Philipsburg is under investigation by the state police.
According to the state police in Philipsburg, someone entered the trailer on North Second Street by cutting a window screen and opening an unlocked window. The person then removed five 2,500 foot rolls of 10 gauge copper wire; one 500 foot roll of 8 gauge copper wire; three-four 500 foot rolls of 12 gauge copper wires; two 250 foot rolls of MC 12-2 copper wire; and a Makita band saw. The person then fled the scene undetected.
The estimate for the items stolen is over $3,000.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
