CLEARFIELD – An early morning fire in Clearfield Borough on Thursday has been ruled arson by state police fire marshal Cpl. Chuck Gross.
Officials said that the fire started just after midnight on Thursday at 115 Ulerich Ave. in Clearfield.
Police told 6 News that nobody was home at the time of the fire, but there were still belongings inside of the home.
Donald Ridley and Susan Shaw told 6 News that they moved out of the house about six months ago.
They are sickened that someone would light the home on fire.
“Everybody knew that we had stuff in here that lived around here. We had a lot of stuff still in there,” said Ridley.
