PHILIPSBURG – During the month of May, the Philipsburg-based state police investigated 28 accidents, and it’s currently initiating an accident reduction effort.
Of those accidents, state police determined the man causes were motorists traveling too fast for conditions and inattentive driving. State police would also like to remind motorists that they need to maintain a safe following distance behind the vehicle ahead of them.
State police remind motorists that wearing a seat belt is required by law in Pennsylvania. Motorists and their occupants should wear their seat belts at all times, as it’s been proven to save lives.
