Bernard A. Levendusky, 91, of DuBois died Friday at the DuBois Regional Medical Center. Born Aug. 15, 1920 in Force, he was the son of the late Stock and Florence (Buskirk) Levendusky.
He was an Air Force sergeant during World War II.
On May 29, 1943 in DuBois, he married Phyllis Reed. She preceded him in death on Aug. 18, 2002. He operated the DuBois Equifax office for 38.5 years before he retired in 1982.
He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. He loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by two children, David Levendusky and his wife, Mary of Reston, Virginia and Christina Patton of Westfield, IN; five grandchildren, Jane Miskell, Sarah Cammaratta, Jeremy Patton, Evan Patton, and Amanda Patton; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his five brothers, Irvin, John, Harry, Iread and Raymond Levendusky and four sisters, Cossetta Manginell, Gertrude Levendusky, Jean Llewellyn and Dolly Anderson.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home in DuBois.
A Scriptural Wake Service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
