Police Report: CBPD

1. A stop sign was damaged at the intersectino of Daisy Street and Bigler Avenue.
2. Police investigated a retail theft at a business on Nichols Street.
3. Police are investigating a hit and run accident that occurred in the parking of a business on Nichols Street. A known Clearfield man backed into another vehicle in the parking lot. The man failed to provide his insurance information and left the scene.
4. Police are investigating the theft of personal property and medication from an apartment on Ogden Avenue.
5. Police received a complaint of a dog on the roof on Ogden Avenue.
6. Police have received several complaints of vehicles speeding on Nichols Street. Police will increase enforcement in the area.
7. Police investigated a two vehicle accident on North Front Street. There were no injuries and minor damage to both units.
8. Police assisted Clearfield Fire Department and the Department of Transportation with a hazardous materials spill on Second Street and Market Street. One lane of Second Street and East Market Street were closed for several hours while responders cleared the traffic lanes of the materials.
