Christine Demchak, 83 of Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg, passed away May 22, 2012 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
Born April 12, 1929 in Rush Township, was the daughter of the late George & Mary (Lucak) Demchak.

She was a 1946 graduate of Philipsburg High School.
She was head cashier at the former A&P, Philipsburg.
She was a member of Nativity of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Chester Hill.
She was a member of AARP.
Funeral Services will be held at the Nativity of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 420 Laura St. Philipsburg, on May 25 at 11:00 a.m. with the Very Rev. John Horosky officiating. Burial will follow at Nativity of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Cemetery. Friends will be received at the church on Friday, May 25 from 9-11 a.m.
