Kiersten A. Maines, 48, of Woodland, passed away May 19, 2012 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Mrs. Maines was born on Oct. 21, 1963 in Niagara Falls, NY the daughter of Alfred B. and Ruth M. (Bowman) Kephart.
She was a homemaker and loved spending quality time with family. She enjoyed fishing and baseball.
Mrs. Maines was Protestant by faith.
She is survived by her husband, Duane Maines whom she married Jan. 26, 1991, two sons; Adam and Jacob Maines both of Woodland, a granddaughter, Zoey Maines, two sisters and two brothers; Linda S. Kephart of Woodland, Kevin A. Kephart of Boalsburg and his former wife Linda, Daniel L. Kephart of Grassflat and his former wife Jackie and Robin L. Swanson of Woodland and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Maines was preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandparents, Ellis and Gertrude Kephart, maternal grandparents, Lewis and Ruth Bowman, a nephew, Ben Swanson and a brother-in-law, Ned Swanson.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on May 24 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., of Clearfield with Pastor Sam Maines officiating. Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on May 23 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of services.
