An incident of harassment occurred sometime between 10 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. May 13 in the 500 block of East Pine Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A 15-year-old Philipsburg girl and a 35-year-old Philipsburg man were allegedly engaged in a physical confrontation. The man allegedly threatened to harm an 18-year-old Philipsburg man who in turn allegedly threatened the man and a 30-year-old woman. The girl and the older man sustained minor injuries. The victims refused to cooperate with an arrest.
A single-vehicle accident occurred at 4:10 p.m. Monday on state Route 970 in Rush Township, Centre County. Patricia A. Gustafson, 55, of Sandy Ridge lost control of her vehicle because of a slippery substance on the roadway while attempting a right-hand turn. Her vehicle struck an embankment and overturned onto its roof before traveling another 30 feet.
A two-vehicle accident occurred at 9:10 a.m. Monday along Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. Michelle J. Keel, 53, of Glasford, IL traveled through a stop sign at which time it struck another vehicle driven by Kiley M. Abersold, 23, of Philipsburg, who was traveling on North Third Street.
At approximately 2 p.m. Saturday, a driver backed out of a parking stall at an office in Black Moshannon State Park in Rush Township, Centre County. The vehicle struck the bumper of a parked vehicle.
