Larry J. Conaway, 60, of Clearfield, Pa passed away on May 13, 2012 at his home after a long battle with cancer.
He was born in Clearfield on Feb. 29, 1952, the son of Walter Andrew and Betty (Gillingham) Conaway.
Mr. Conaway retired from Xerox Corporation, Webster, NY after 36 years of service.
He was Protestant by faith.
Mr. Conaway is survived by two daughters; Mikki L. Conaway of Lyons, NY and Marcy J. Conaway of Rochester, NY, two brothers; William Conaway and his wife Helen and Kenneth Conaway and his wife Sonja all of Douglasville, GA, a sister, Deborah Grace and her husband Don of Clearfield, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Margaret (Peg) Daub, paternal grandparents; Aaron and Tursie Conaway and maternal grandparents; Joseph and Nellie Gillingham.
Funeral services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., of Clearfield, PA on May 19 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Cindy Rummel officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on May 18, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the services.
