CLEARFIELD – A man accused of stabbing another man in Sutton’s Bar is in custody.
The state police in Clearfield reported that 21-year-old Ryan J. Lingenfelter of Howard is in Clearfield County Jail on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and related charges.
According to a prior Gant report, a man (reportedly Lingenfelter)Â became confrontational with patrons at Sutton’s Bar in Hawk Run, Morris Township. Then he and a 52-year-old Hawk Run man got into an argument outside the bar.
At that point, the Lingenfelter allegedly stabbed the man in the head with a knife. A 42-year-old Philipsburg woman attempted to stop the Lingenfelter, and sustained an injury to her hand from the knife.
The older man was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for medical treatment. He was later released. The woman refused medical treatment at the scene.
