DECATUR TOWNSHIP – The investigation continues into a stabbing during which two people were injured early Saturday morning outside Sutton’s Bar in Decatur Township.
According to the Clearfield-based state police, a male suspect became confrontational with patrons at the bar. Then, he and a 52-year-old Hawk Run male engaged in a verbal dispute outside the bar.
At that point, the suspect allegedly stabbed the male victim in the head with a knife. A 42-year-old Philipsburg female attempted to stop the suspect and sustained an injury to her hand from the knife.
The male victim was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for medical treatment. He was later released. The female victim refused medical treatment at the scene.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male who is in his early 20’s. He stands approximately 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has a light-colored hair with a Mo-hawk style and tattoos on his upper body.
State police believe his first name may be “Vito” with the nickname “Bulldog.”
The suspect fled the scene as the passenger in an older model red/maroon Chevrolet Cavalier, which had plastic covering the missing rear window. It also had a missing front hubcap. The vehicle had to be pushed to get it started at the scene.
