An incident of terroristic threats/harassment occurred May 8 in the 500 block of North 13th Street, Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A 55-year-old woman had been watching two young children who belonged to a 28-year-old woman. The first female petitioned the court for temporary custody of the children at which time the latter woman became upset and allegedly made threats toward her.
An incident of DUI occurred at approximately 12:03 p.m. Thursday along U.S. Route 322 near the Black Oak Church in Worth Township, Centre County. A 36-year-old Osceola Mills man was stopped for traveling at 81 miles per hour within 55 miles per hour zone. Further investigation revealed that he was under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently taken into custody for DUI and transported to the Tyrone Hospital for blood testing. Formal charges for DUI and several summary traffic violations are pending blood test results.
An incident of disorderly conduct occurred at 2:10 p.m. Friday at the Rusty Lane Trailer Court in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A 32-year-old Philipsburg woman reported that she and a 22-year-old Philipsburg male were engaged in a verbal argument when he allegedly pulled down his pants and exposed his buttocks. Charges of disorderly conduct have been filed through Magisterial District Judge Allen Sinclair’s office.
An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between 7 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday at the Grace United Methodist Church in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A person(s) threw an unknown object and shattered a full length decorative door window. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
