At approximately 8:22 a.m. Friday, police were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident on Liberty Boulevard. A pick-up truck was attempting to change lanes and struck another vehicle, which already occupied the lane. No injuries were reported.
At approximately 2:07 p.m. Friday, police were dispatched for reported theft at a DuBois Street business. At arrival, police learned that someone had forced open the Pepsi machine outside of the business before removing money from the change dispenser. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
At approximately 5:34 p.m. Friday, police were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of 100 North Main Street. The vehicles struck while the operator of one was backing out of a parking space. No injuries were reported.
At approximately 7:23 p.m. Friday, police were dispatched for two suspicious males in the area of 100 North Main Street. At arrival police made contact with them, and their investigation revealed that one possessed suspected marijuana. The males were identified and charges are currently pending for the drug violation.
At approximately 9:13 p.m. Friday, police were dispatched for a domestic in the 200 block of Williams Street. At arrival police made contact with the involved parties, and they advised that it’d been a verbal argument. No physical violence had occurred between the parties. Both parties separated without further incident.
At approximately 5:08 p.m. Saturday, police were dispatched for a reported theft in the 200 block of East Weber Avenue. The victim advised police that someone had stolen pool accessories from outside his residence. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
At approximately 2:35 a.m. Sunday, police were dispatched to a reported burglary in the 200 block of South Main Street. At arrival the victim advised that someone had entered their residence and stolen numerous items. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
At approximately 9:18 a.m. Sunday, police were dispatched for an attempted theft in the 300 block of Sandy Street. At arrival the victim advised that someone had attempted to gain access into their soda vending machines outside of their business. The machines sustained damage, but nothing had been removed. The investigation is ongoing.
