PHILIPSBURG – The Philipsburg-based state police are currently seeking the public’s help in investigating an arson that occurred sometime between 10:15 p.m. and 10:35 p.m. April 29 in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County.
A person(s) set fire to garbage in a dumpster belonging to Veolia Environmental Services of Brockway that’s located in the 100 block of West Pine Street. The person(s) then fled the scene undetected.
Damage is estimated at $300, state police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
