Mary Louise Kolosky, 93, of Philipsburg died Thursday at Windy Hill Village. Born Jan. 7, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Otresena) Pedmo.
She was a member of the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Philipsburg. She was a devoted homemaker and mother.
She was married to Martin J. “Ike” Kolosky on June 17, 1939 in Philipsburg and who preceded her in death Aug. 20, 1997. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
She’s survived by two daughters, Loretta Cornwall and her husband, William of High Point, NC and Mary Ann Tarantola and her husband, Joseph of Long Island, NY, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Kolosky was the last of her generation.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, Philipsburg, with the Rev. Robert J. Kelly officiating. Interment will be in the St. Agnes Cemetery, Morrisdale.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
