CURWENSVILLE – A Mahaffey man is facing DUI related charges following an automobile accident on Saturday.
According to the state police in Clearfield, the 41-year-old man was traveling west, just outside of Curwensville, on state Route 879. He was taken from the scene by ambulance to Clearfield Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Police reported that upon speaking to him, it was determined he had imbibed alcohol. He was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. He agreed to a blood draw, and the sample was sent to the Erie Regional Crime Lab for analysis.
Charges are pending those lab results.
