Police Report: Curwensville Borough

A suspicious person was reported last Monday afternoon walking north on Filbert Street. The person was allegedly carrying a baseball bat.
A Curwensville man was apprehended Thursday after found possessing marijuana and several items of drug paraphernalia.
A man who was requesting help was located Thursday, and he was provided with the services that he required.
An incident of criminal mischief occurred Thursday when a tire was slashed on a disabled vehicle that was parked in the area of Chestnut Street.
An investigation is being conducted into an altercation that occurred Thursday morning.
Police removed people who were fishing Friday evening in the area of Howe’s Leather.
A vehicle was reported stolen late Friday night or early Saturday morning, and it was being operated in the Curwensville Borough area. Police referred the complainant to the Clearfield-based state police, as they were living in Olanta.
An incident of reckless driving was reported on the Clearfield – Curwensville Highway Friday evening after a female was forced off the roadway near Rails to Trails. The investigation is ongoing.
State Street residents are again advised that there isn’t any parking between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. This serves as the final reminder, and all vehicles will be ticketed.
