Loretta A. Voyzey, 91, of the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and formerly of Philipsburg died Thursday. Born Dec. 14, 1920 in Butte, MT, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Katherine (Murphy) Powers.
Mrs. Voyzey was affiliated with the St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Philipsburg. She was a homemaker.
She wed James W. Voyzey on June 5, 1943 in Butte, MT, and who preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 1999. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five sisters and five brothers.
She’s survived by two daughters, Donna R. Winters and her husband, Gerald of Philipsburg and Selina K. Demchak of New Millport; one sister, Alice Vicivich and her husband, Lou and one brother, John Powers and his wife, Joan, all of Butte, MT.
Surviving are five grandchildren, James Demchak, Gary Winters, Lori Demchak, Sue Harris and Gennifer Flatley. Also surviving are 11 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kayla, Ashley and Molly Demchak; Sara and Laura Harris; Mara, Mitchell and Megan Winters; John and Liam Flatley.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills with the Rev. Desmond McGee officiating. Interment will be at the Centre Cemetery, Osceola Mills.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and from 1 p.m. to the hour of services Saturday at the funeral home.
