Police Report: LTPD

Police were called to JC Pennys for a report of someone using their garbage bin.
Police received a report of theft from the Clearfield-Jefferson Mental Health Center on Leonard Street. Charges will be filed against a 49-year-old Houtzdale woman. She reportedly stole a prescription pad from the center and attempted to forge a doctor’s signature and get a prescription filled at the Medicine Shoppe in Clearfield. She was taken into custody and is awaiting arraignment.
Police received a harassment complaint that originated from Clearfield Middle School. The complaint was listed as unfounded.
Police received a call regarding a civil matter.
Police received a report of a minor accident at Colonial Courtyard. A vehicle operated by a Mineral Springs resident struck a parked vehicle.
Police received a complaint of theft that occurred over a civil matter.
Police responded to a complaint of an aggressive dog on Rails to Trails near Carbon Mine Road. Officers and animal control were unable to locate the animal.
Police responded to a vehicle fire on private property. The driver was traveling on US Route 322 when they noticed smoke coming from the vehicle. After they arrived home, they tried to extinguish the flames. The Hyde Fire Department arrived and put out the fire.
Police responded to a report of a disorderly boy.

Police responded to a report of harassment and trespass at a Hyde residence.
