Peggie K. Pallo, 68 of Clearfield died on April 15, 2012 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born on May 17, 1943 in New Bern, NC a daughter of the late James T. and Esther Jane (McLaughlin) Kane.
Peggie owned Creative Clutter, a craft business which she opened in 1996. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, the Rosary and Altar Society of the church and the Catholic Daughters of America Lodge #498, Clearfield.
Peggie graduated from St. Francis School in 1961.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred P. Pallo whom she wed Aug. 10, 1963 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield; three children, Christine Owens and husband Michael of Clearfield, Patrick Pallo and wife Megan of Clearfield and Paulette Kitko and husband Ken of Flinton; 3 grandsons, Jude Patrick, Matthew James and Luke Andrew; a sister Kerry Gardner and husband David of Dover, DE and nephew Sean Dorrier and wife Ruth and their children of Harrisville.
Mass of Christian burial will be said at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m.
At the funeral home on Wednesday, a Christian vigil service will be said at 1:45 p.m. and the rosary will be recited at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Francis Educational Endowment Fund or to the Saint Francis Adopt A Student Fund, both at 212 S. Front Street, Clearfield.
