BRADFORD TOWNSHIP – Two people were transported to Altoona for medical treatment following a motor vehicle accident.
The state police in Clearfield reported that on Monday morning, Dustin E. Houston of Clearfield was traveling east on Interstate 80. Police said he fell asleep and the vehicle traveled off the road and struck the guide rails. Houston suffered moderate injuries. His passenger, Gladys Wilkinson of Winburne, suffered major injuries. Police said neither were wearing seat belts.
Police were assisted at the scene by Clearfield Emergency Medical Services, Clearfield Fire Department and Bigler Boyz.
