Valarie J. Reams Skander, 56 of Mechanicsburg, passed away on April 8, 2012 at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill.
Born Oct. 1, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Norman Wesley and Vida Joycee (Kizer) Reams.
She was of Christian faith; she was employed as a policy specialist for the Pennsylvania School Boards Association; she graduated from Philipsburg-Osceola High School, class of 1973 and from Toccoa Falls College in Toccoa Falls, GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Karen D. Baughman.
She is survived by sister Sharan A. Reams of Mechanicsburg.
Services will be held on April 14 at 2 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. Hiram Westover officiating. Burial will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
