CLEARFIELD – Grice Gun Shop received the Golden Broom Award for the month of March. The Golden Broom Award is a peer-to-peer program initiated by the Clearfield Revitalization Corporation, (CRC) to promote storefront and sidewalk cleanliness. The broom has been passed by Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, who won the award during the month of February.
Kevin A. Beardsley said, “Grice Gun Shop brings thousands of out-of-towners every year into their store, and their storefront is a first impression ofClearfieldto many of these visitors. This past month especially, when they had their anniversary sale their storefront was kept crisp and clean. It is important to offer a hospitable first impression, as many of these visitors will be more likely to visit other businesses in our town.”
Owner of Grice Gun Shop Tom Grice stated, “We certainly appreciate receiving the Golden Broom Award. Â With all the hard work that the Clearfield Revitalization Corporation has done, and the property improvements the Golden Broom Award has inspired with many other businesses, and residents as well, in my lifetime I have never seen Clearfield look as nice as it does now.”
