FALLS CREEK – The state police in DuBois released updated information in a possible child abuse/abduction case.
Police were initially seeking information about a child possibly being forced into a vehicle. Police learned from the mother of the child that the child, who is autistic, was walking with his father. The child then laid on the ground and refused to walk. The father called the mother and requested that she bring the family vehicle to the scene and take the child home. The mother arrived and the child was placed in the vehicle and driven to his home. The father continued walking.
Police reported there were no signs of physical abuse on the child.
