An incident of harassment occurred at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hill Street Commons in Chester Hill Borough, Clearfield County. Two Philipsburg women engaged in a physical altercation with a Philipsburg man.
A hit-and-run accident occurred at approximately 1:15 a.m. Sunday at the Sheetz parking lot in Decatur Township, Clearfield County. A vehicle operated Samuel J. Welch-Selfridge, 18, of Philipsburg was pulling into the parking lot from U.S. Route 322. He observed a dark-colored pick-up truck attempting to back up at which time he stopped to wait. While the pick-up truck was backing out, it back into the Welch-Selfridge vehicle. The pick-up truck’s operator failed to stop and fled, traveling south on state Route 53. An incident of criminal mischief occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot area along West Presqueisle Street in Chester Hill Borough, Clearfield County. A known 21-year-old Philipsburg male allegedly punched and kicked an 18-year-old Houtzdale girl’s vehicle. Damage is estimated at $400. The investigation is ongoing.
An incident of criminal mischief occurred at 6 p.m. Saturday along Blackburn Road in Bigler Township, Clearfield County. A 31-year-old Madera man told police that someone had broken the outside window pane of a large window at his camp.
