CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr., announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of March 5, 2012. Shaw identified the fugitive as Jessica Keller, 32, of DuBois.
Shaw stated that Keller is wanted for failure to appear at motions court Feb. 27, 2007, and for failure to appear at plea and sentencing court March 27, 2007.
On May 16, 2006, Officer Randall Young of the DuBois City Police Department filed a criminal complaint, charging Keller with driving under the influence; driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked; and obedience to traffic control devices.
An affidavit of probable cause filed by Young states that on April 29, 2006, while on routine patrol, officers observed a vehicle exceeding the posted speed limit and swerving within its lane of travel. Upon making contact with the driver of the vehicle, Young detected signs of impairment and requested that Keller perform field sobriety tests. After administering the field sobriety tests, Keller was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for blood testing.
A preliminary hearing was held on June 9, 2006 at which time all charges were held to court. On Feb. 27, 2007, Keller failed to appear for motions court and a warrant was issued for her arrest. Also, on March 27, 2007, Keller failed to appear for plea and sentencing court and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Keller is described as a white female, standing 5 feet, 5 inches tall with brown eyes and hair.
