~ Police responded to an incident of attempted suicide Thursday on Glen Hazel Road, Jones Township, Elk County. A known female deliberately drove her car off the road into a tree in an attempt to end her life. The woman was transported to Elk Regional Health Center for Treatment. Police were assisted by Wilcox Fire Department.
~ Police responded to an unfounded report of burglary that occurred Thursday on Kennedy Street in the Village of Byrnedale, Elk County. The victim reported that she heard a male and a female talking in the lower level of her residence. An investigation revealed that the residence was secure and that there had not been any unwanted persons in her residence.
~Police responded to a report of criminal mischief on Fern Lane, Fox Township, Elk County. Unknown actors threw eggs at the victim’s house. No damage was reported.
~ Police are investigating a report of theft that occurred on Mohan Run Road, Ridgway Township. The victim reports that unknown actors entered his shed and removed 2 Husqvarna chain saws with plastic cases. Anyone with information is urged to contact PSP Ridgway at 776-6136.
