RIDGWAY – A fire, which damaged a residential dwelling at 8:17 p.m. Wednesday in Ridgway, has been ruled an arson, the Ridgway-based state police reported this morning.
According to the report, the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal and the Ridgway Borough Police and Fire departments investigated the origin and cause of the fire. The fire damaged a residential dwelling at 514 Cherry Street that was owned by Renee Reed of Ridgway.
The fired was ruled arson with damage being estimated at approximately $7,500, according to the state police. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
