WINSLOW TOWNSHIP – Jeff Tech students were evacuated to an alternative site on yesterday, as a safety precaution in response to information received that was threatening in nature. These actions were based on recommendations from the state police and the school’s standard procedures for handling situations of this nature.
School officials thank the DuBois Area School District, the C. G. Johnson Elementary and food service staff, Jewell Auto Shop for buses, Reynoldsville Police, Sykesville Police, Pennsylvania State Police, State Police K-9 unit, Reynoldsville Fire Company and the staff at Jeff Tech for all their assistance in helping to ensure the safety of the students.
