Bruce A. Rhoades, age 61, of Philipsburg passed away on Monday, February 20, 2012 at the Windy Hill Villlage.
Born Janaury 20, 1951 he was the son of the late Stanley Ivan Rhoades and Alberta Lucille Smead.
he was employed as a night auditor and desk clerk at the Harbor Inn, Philipsburg for 18 years and the Quality Inn in State College for 10 years.
He attended the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Philipsburg.
He is survived by his wife Margaret E. McClelland Rhoades whom he wed in 1969; two brothers, David Rhoades of Denver, CO and Joe Stanley Rhoades of Brandford.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Rhoades.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home, Houtzdale with the Rev. Scott Hartsock officiating.
Internment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Brisban.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 3-7p.m. and Thursday until the hour of services at the funeral home.
