Shirley R. Narehood, 57 of Frenchville, PA and most recently of Clearfield, PA passed away on Feb. 16, 2012 at DuBois Regional Medical Center, DuBois, PA.
Born on March 2, 1954 in Goshen, PA, she was the daughter of Willard and Elma (Taylor) Jury.
Mrs. Narehood had been employed at Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as a nurses aide and had also worked as private duty aide in the Clearfield community.
She had attended the Church of the Nazarene.
Mrs. Narehood enjoyed doing various crafts and especially enjoyed knitting.
She is survived her husband, Gordon H. Narehood, whom she married in 1990; a son, Gordon C. Narehood at home; two brothers, Steven M. Jury of Goshen and Raymond L. Price of Woodland, PA; two sisters, Carol Salls of Rockwell Texas and Colleen O’Leary of Bellefonte, PA.
Mrs. Narehood is preceded in death by her parents; a brother Larry N. Jury and two infant brothers, David and Robert.
At the request of Mrs. Narehood, there will be no public visitation or viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Interment will take place in the Goshen Cemetery.
