HYDE – Clearfield’s wrestling team went into their match against Mifflin County knowing they were overmatched, but they put up a good fight in several bouts before ultimately falling to the visiting Huskies.Â

Christian Stone (22-5) won by fall, while Dylan Graham (19-10), Nolan Barger (25-3), and Kody Hepfer (5-16) each won by decision for the Bisons.Â

Noah Cline and Jordan Lancaster each lost heartbreaking last-second decisions to wrestlers with much better records.Â

Mifflin County improves to 18-5 with the win, while the Bisons dropped to 3-12.Â

The match concluded Clearfield’s dual meet season, they are now off until districts at Clarion University February 25.
