Police received a report of road rage in which a black Mazda was tailgating another vehicle on River Road.
Police responded to a single-vehicle accident on state Route 879 between Bigler and Park Avenues. A Houtzdale man crossed the center line and struck the guide rails twice before coming to rest in the middle of the road. The driver was transported to Clearfield Hospital by Clearfield Emergency Medical Services. Police were assisted by Lawrence Township Fire Department. The incident is still under investigation.
