PENN TOWNSHIP – A Morrisdale man suffered moderate injuries in an automobile accident Monday morning.
According to the state police in Clearfield the 19-year-old driver was heading west on state Route 879. For unknown reasons, he lost control of his vehicle and traveled into the opposite lane. He struck a guide rail and his vehicle overturned. He was transported by Curwensville Emergency Medical Services to Clearfield Hospital for further evaluation.
Police were assisted at the scene by Curwensville EMS, and Curwensville and Grampian Fire Departments.
