Arthur W. “Artie” Reams, 67 of Osceola Mills died Thursday at his home. Born March 16, 1944, he was the son of Lavina (Walk) Reams of Osceola Mills and the late George W. Reams.
Mr. Reams attended the Ohio United Methodist Church in Osceola Mills. He was retired from the former Reams Logging Company in Osceola Mills and was a heavy equipment operator in strip mining the most post of his life.
He was married to Gloria M. (Yarger) Reams on March 13, 1965 at the Ohio United Methodist Church in Osceola Mills.
His father preceded him in death.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived two daughters, Lisa and her husband, George Daniel Sr. of Munson and Sheila Mayes and her husband, Stacey of Snow Shoe; one son, Mark A. Reams of Osceola Mills and five grandchildren, Chelsea Reams-Boob, Haylea Estright, Jared Mayes, George Daniel Jr. and Abby Daniel.
Also surviving are three sisters, Doloris Hughes and her husband Edward of (Gearhartville) Philipsburg; Jean Hanna and her husband, Raymond of Osceola Mills; and Shirl Bryan and her husband, James of Philipsburg.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until the time of services Monday at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills.
The funeral will be officiated by Pastor Donald Smith at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
