Thomas E. Dalton, 80, of DuBois died Monday at his residence. Born March 20, 1931 in Athens, he was the son of the late Oscar and Reba (Distal) Dalton.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, where he was awarded the Bronze Star.
On Aug. 1, 1964, he married Marilyn A. Wismar. She survives.
He worked at the DuBois Lumber Company and was a self-employed lumber inspector for 50 years. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother, John Dalton of Trenton, NJ.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Delores Bartlet.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Memorials may be placed with the charity of the donor’s choice.
