CLEARFIELD – Today marks the return of the Central Pennsylvania’s 5th annual premier wine tasting event, the Groundhog Trail Wine Festival.
The festival celebrates the best of award winning wineries from the heart of Pennsylvania, featuring 9 different wineries all under one roof.
The event will also host live music from Mama Corn and the 14th Street Jazz band and plenty of fun and food from various vendors spanning from Virginia to Warren, PA.
Making his debut to the festival this year will be “Rainmaker” along with the famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, and with Bill Deeley and his other co-handlers.
The festival will be held in 2 sessions; 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m in the Expo 1 building at the Clearfield Fairgrounds. Pre-sale tickets are $15.00 and $20.00 the day of the event.
Attendees will receive a Groundhog Wine Trail signature wine glass, and the St. Francis PTO will receive a portion of the proceeds from the event.
