RUSH TOWNSHIP – State police in Philipsburg reported that drugs were found during a vehicle search on Thursday.
According to the report, four people were parked in a vehicle at Project 70. Police made contact and observed several indicators of criminal activity. Police stated that a 19-year-old Osceola Mills man attempted to eat marijuana upon seeing the marked police cruiser.
A drug dog was called in, searched the vehicle and alerted police to the rear of the driver’s seat. A search revealed that marijuana was concealed inside that seat. Drug paraphernalia was also found inside the trunk of the vehicle, as well as on one of the three juveniles in the car.
