The sweet Concord and Catawba grape taste of “Clearfield” wine will remain the same, but the outside label has a complete makeover. Each year, this benefit wine appears with a new label, making it a collector’s edition, and $1 per bottle purchased is contributed to the CRC and its downtown Clearfield’s efforts.
The Clearfield Revitalization Corporation, (CRC) partnered with Kenn Starr from Starr Hill Winery and artist Ian Aughinbaugh to create the label.
Aughinbaugh stated, “I enjoy creating the CRC wine labels, especially this year since I was able to be a bit more creative. In a roundabout fashion, this is my creative way to pay tribute to the Clearfield Revitalization Corporation.”
Aughinbaugh will be available at the Groundhog Wine Festival on Feb. 4 at the Expo Building at the Fair Grounds to autograph your collector’s bottle.
Starr said, “This we are thrilled with this new label and wine, as this is the only wine that benefits the revitalization efforts of downtown Clearfield, the All-America City.”
