Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

An incident of theft occurred sometime between 10 a.m. Jan. 23 and 9 a.m. Friday along Medical Center Drive in Rush Township, Centre County. A person(s) allegedly removed cash from an envelope in a break room and fled the scene. Total amount stolen was $76. An incident of burglary/criminal mischief occurred sometime between 9:30 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday along East Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A person(s) forced entry into the Phillips Hotel and entered the dining room. Then, they attempted to pry open a cash register drawer before fleeing the scene. Total estimated damage is $250.
